💰 Crime Scene Mat Cancellation, Replacement & Final Sale Policy
By placing an order with Crime Scene Mat, you agree to the terms outlined below. Please read this policy carefully before completing your purchase.
⏳ Order Cancellation — 24 Hours Only
Physical product orders may be cancelled for a refund within 24 hours of purchase only.
- Cancellation requests must be emailed to crimescenemathelp@gmail.com
- The request must be sent before the 24-hour window expires
- Requests submitted after 24 hours will not be approved
Once 24 hours have passed, all physical product orders are considered final and non-refundable.
📦 Replacement Policy — Arrival Issues Only
Crime Scene Mat does not accept returns and does not offer refunds beyond the 24-hour cancellation window.
Free replacements are available only for:
- Items that arrive damaged or defective
- Shipments officially declared lost by the carrier
🕒 Damage or Defect Reporting Window — 48 Hours
To qualify for a replacement due to damage or a manufacturing defect:
- The issue must be reported within 48 hours of the carrier delivery scan
- Claims submitted after 48 hours may be denied
Please include:
- Clear photo and/or video evidence of the issue
- Photo of the original shipping box and packaging
- Your order number
Claims without sufficient documentation may not be approved.
Approved claims will be resolved with a replacement only. Refunds or returns are not offered for damaged or defective products.
📦 Lost Shipments
If the shipping carrier officially declares your package lost, Crime Scene Mat will provide a replacement.
- A package is only considered lost once confirmed by the carrier
- Shipping delays or temporary tracking inactivity do not qualify as lost shipments
- Refunds are not issued for lost packages
📬 Delivered but Not Received
Once the carrier marks an order as Delivered, the order is considered fulfilled.
Crime Scene Mat is not responsible for packages that are stolen, misplaced, or otherwise missing after confirmed delivery.
Customers should contact the shipping carrier directly regarding possible misdelivery or theft.
🚫 Non-Refundable & Non-Replaceable Situations
The following are not eligible for refunds, returns, or replacements:
- Requests made after the 24-hour cancellation period
- Change of mind or buyer's remorse
- Disliking the appearance, size, color, or design after purchase
- Packages delayed but not officially declared lost
- Incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses entered by the customer
- Damage caused after delivery
- Improper use or care
- Normal wear and tear
- Claims submitted outside the 48-hour reporting window
- Failure to provide requested photo or video documentation
🩸 Color-Changing Effect
The Crime Scene Mat is designed to temporarily change color when exposed to water or moisture.
Variations in the appearance, intensity, placement, or duration of the color-changing effect may occur depending on factors such as:
- Amount of water applied
- Lighting conditions
- Temperature
- Age and condition of the mat
- How the water contacts the surface
- Mineral content and quality of the water
Minor variations in the effect are not considered defects.
🔒 No Warranty Policy
Crime Scene Mat does not provide extended warranties.
Replacement coverage applies only to qualifying products that arrive:
- Damaged
- Defective
- Missing required components
Eligible issues must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with the required documentation.
📦 Product Care Responsibility
Once your order has been delivered in acceptable condition, proper use, storage, cleaning, and maintenance become the responsibility of the customer.
Damage caused through misuse, improper cleaning, improper storage, or normal wear is not eligible for replacement.
